Wings Within Hermés Amsterdam

Wings Within: an instalation of Sagarminaga Atelier for Hermés Amsterdam Crystal House

Sagarminaga Atelier presents Wings Within, an installation created for Hermés Amsterdam Crystal Houses as part of L’ Appeal du Large, Hermés annual theme for 2026.

Conceived as a reflection on the journey that begins within, the installation explores the idea that the call of the wild does not always lead us toward distant horizons. Sometimes, it calls us toward inner transformation.

Through a landscape suspended between reality and imagination, Wings Within unfolds as an universe in perpetual metamorphosis. Organic forms emerge, dissolve and reassemble, evoking the invisible forces that accompany moments of change, discovery and possibility.

The installation interprets L’ Appel du Large as a symbolic territory where the impulse to depart becomes an intimate experience: an emotional movement that opens new perspectives and reveals paths to be explored.

For Sagarminaga Atelier, this news collaboration with Hermés holds particular significance. Over the past years, we had the priviligue of developing several projects alongside the Maison, an experience we deeply value for the shared commitment to excellence, craftsmanship, creativity and the pursuit of meaning.

Each installation emerges from communicatin between two creative universes and is enriched through a continuous process of exchange. Working with the Hermés team means becoming part of a thoughtful and demanding conversation, where every idea is nurtured, challenged, and refined in pursuit of the strongest possible outcome.

More than an individual intervention, we see this work as a new chapter in a shared story one that continues to evolve and be written together.
