Being among the 30 "Mentes Brillantes " selected by Arquitectura y Diseño magazine for its December bring us equal parts of  joy and  energy, but also represents a valuable recognition of contemporary craftsmanship.

Working with natural materials—especially natural fibers, which are at the heart of our practice—allows us to work with living materials that breathe, vibrate, and react to light and the passage of time. Natural fibers is an essential element of landscape. Its tactile quality holds thousands of years of history and, at the same time, opens up extraordinary possibilities for telling new stories— fragments that contain memory, but also a future yet to be shaped.

These materials allow for a level of expressiveness that would not be possible with more rigid or industrial options. Fiber has the ability to evoke sensations and create volume through its lightness; it straddles the line between the organic and the architectural, and it transforms when combined with other fine materials such as metal, porcelain, and wood, giving rise to new formal possibilities.

In recent years, we have initiated  to explore its relationship with technology, seeking points of convergence between the material’s ancestral qualities and contemporary innovation , and opening up new ways of understanding movement, form, and interaction.
