"La TEMPÊTE" by Jérémy Pradier-Jeauneau at the Arc de Triomphe

Arc de Triomphe, Paris

This past September, we had the opportunity to take part in Paris Deco Off 2026, thanks to our involvement in the “La Tempête” collection created by Jeremy Pradier-Jeauneau and exhibited at the Arc de Triomphe. It is such an authentic, unique, and artistic place that we at the atelier wanted to celebrate it and bring it into our Sagarminaga universe.

The flower emerges as a gesture of transformation: what belongs to architecture becomes organic, tactile, and alive.

The "making-of" begins with a metal frame, created by our team, onto which the esparto grass is gradually added, following its lines and adapting to its contours. The fibers are added and secured by hand, one by one, gradually building the shape and giving form to each element of the composition.

As a result of our team’s work, the flower preserves the memory of the victorious palm but transforms it: the architectural ornament becomes organic, and stone finds a new expression in plant matter. A gesture that connects Jeremy Pradier-Jeauneau’s exhibition with the world of Sagarminaga Atelier.

We are very proud to have been part of Jeremy Pradier-Jeauneau’s *La Tempête* and to have had the opportunity to showcase our work at such an iconic location as the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, a site of such immense historical and symbolic value.
