Interspersing circular and grid shapes, Thaïs balances masculinity and femininity in equal parts. This large tableau is a symbol that shows a different way of working with vegetable fibers and creating contemporary works of crafts. In its difference, it leads us to rethink craftsmanship, the new role of nature in our interiors, and sustainability itself.

This tableau was designed under commission for the 5-star hotel “La zambra” in Mijas (Málaga). In addition, it was nicknamed "Thäis" by the woman who commissioned its creation.

CHARACTERISTICS

There are two variants that differ according to their design: “Reflexion Thaïs” and “Midnight Thaïs”.

It has dimensions of 2.00 m. x 1.70 m., but we can adjust the dimensions to your needs.

Designed and handcrafted by hand in Bilbao.

They can be adapted as a ceiling and wall covering.

INFORMATION ON MAINTENANCE OF THE CRAFT

This piece does not need any special care. To clean the dust, it is recommended to remove it gently with a cloth.

INFORMATION ON THE INSTALLATION OF THE PIECE

The frame includes a suspension system. To install it, it needs to drill two holes in the wall.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

Once the purchase is made, we immediately begin to produce the craft. As the piece(s) are produced manually, they require a 3-week completion process from the purchase order.

After purchase, you will receive the purchase confirmation in your email. When we have the piece ready for shipment, you will receive another email indicating its departure from our workshop in Bilbao.
