30 Brilliant Minds 2025

Being among the 30 Bright Minds selected by Arquitectura y Diseño magazine in their December edition not only fills us with joy and gives us a boost of energy, but also represents a valuable recognition of contemporary artisanal work.

Working with noble materials, especially plant-based fibers, which lie at the core of our practice, allows us to engage with living materials that breathe, vibrate, and respond to light and the passage of time. Plant fiber is an essential reference to nature. Its tactility holds thousands of years of history, while at the same time offering extraordinary space to tell new stories, ones that carry memory, yet also a future to be shaped.

These materials enable an expressiveness that would not be possible with more rigid or industrial options. Fiber has the ability to generate sensations and build volume from lightness; it oscillates between the organic and the architectural and transforms when combined with other noble materials such as metal, porcelain, and wood, giving rise to new formal possibilities.

In recent years, we have begun exploring its relationship with technology, seeking encounters between the material’s ancestral qualities and contemporary innovation, and opening new ways of understanding movement, form, and interaction.

It is an honor to be among artists, designers, and architects whom we deeply admire.
