Today, we face problems of planetary impact such as resource depletion, deforestation, loss of biodiversity or others such as air pollution and land degradation. Although, slowly, society in the most developed countries is reorienting the ship towards a more environmentally friendly economy, experts fear that we will not be able to change course in time.
And we will wonder how this happened.

Over time, our productivity has progressively increased, allowing us to produce an immense amount of goods and services that have improved our standard of living.
HOW CAN WE BE MORE SUSTAINABLE WHEN WE ENVIRONMENT OUR SPACES?
If we want to contribute our grain of sand to the prevention of environmental problems such as land degradation or the loss of biodiversity, there is some data that we must consider in order to better choose our decorations.
First, we have to rethink our consumption habits. This means avoiding products made with synthetic materials. Unlike organic materials, these use more energy during the production process and generate more non-biodegradable waste. As a result, they remain in the wild indefinitely.
Another key factor that we can take into account is the amount of resources used during the extraction and handling process. And it is that the methods that are currently used, be they chemical treatments or otherwise, are a problem: they end up being harmful to the earth and to other species that coexist in the same ecosystem. By prolonging these practices over time, they end up causing the loss of biodiversity or the sterility of the land.
If we choose to set our spaces with vegetable fibers, we have to assess where they come from since the pollution that it can generate, for example, during transport is different. In this regard, local products have an advantage. When we buy abroad, the distances these products have to travel to our stores are longer. On the other hand, local products do not have this drawback.
