Paris Deco Off 26: *La TEMPÊTE* by Jérémy Pradier-Jeauneau

As part of La Tempête, Jérémy Pradier Jeauneau’s exhibition at the iconic Arc de Triomphe in Paris, Sagarminaga Atelier collaborated by creating a monumental flower carefully woven from natural fibers. This piece was conceived as a reinterpretation of the victory palm that adorns the historic monument, serving as a central element in the installation Mémoire haute/Mémoire basse.

‍

Our flower marks the culmination of a poetic transformation inspired by the legend of Saint Rita and the miraculous rose that bloomed beneath the snow—a powerful symbol of hope and renewal; the immense flower emerges, naturally creating a dialogue with its surroundings.

Through this project, we at the atelier have succeeded in transforming traditional architectural ornamentation into a truly organic, tactile, and living presence. Our work with esparto grass brings warmth and texture to the space, where we weave together the identity of contemporary craftsmanship with the grandeur of Parisian heritage and enrich it with the exhibition’s overarching creative vision.

Every project begins with a conversation.
