Echoes of Memphis: Milan Design Week 2026 Sagarminaga X Arte Walls

In the heart of Brera, during Milan Design Week 2026, we brought Echoes of Memphis to life: an installation created in collaboration with ARTE Walls that transcends the concept of a surface to become an immersive spatial experience. Using wall coverings as our primary medium, we expanded it into three-dimensional space, transforming it into a narrative where texture, rhythm, and light create an immersive environment.
We approach the material as a language. Wall coverings, natural fibers, metal, leather, and textiles come together in a precise yet organic choreography: a subtle balance where tension and softness, structure and intuition converge.
“With Echoes of Memphis, we continue our exploration of how materials can redefine a brand’s identity when brought into the physical space. In this process, the material moves away from its conventional function: wall covering is transformed into volume. The material is folded, stretched, and refined down to its essence, creating depth and poise in complex compositions.”
